Paper Weaving to make Gift Box

paper weaving first step..

I challenge myself to make woven project...And now i made this cute little boxes from magazines or pliers of the newspaper.

The only materials i used are...
Paper from your trash ,i mean can be newspaper ,magazines or any kind of paper..
Glue ,any type of glue ,if you want more adhesive one to make the paper crafts secured
scissor
measurement if you want..
and you can paint the box or put some decoration ..anything you want.

The size of the box i made is....6 inches by 5 inches with cover on it...
all paper that already folded ,you need about 21 pieces of it....

For the cover 6 by 6 equals 11 plus 2 on both side so all are 13 pieces for the box cover,...i will explain in the image below..

i use the paper pliers..its more strong to newspaper..bit glossy too..

for the bottom of the box...you need 6 by 5...then you will need 11 folded paper .
the folded pieces size is 16 inches long by 1 inch .

make a cross image  and apply glue to the center of the cross to attach together 

and continue weaving the 6 by 5 pieces..they should look like this..you can see below the video tutorial ..

and take more 5 folded pieces ,and add to any side of the cross ..

How to make Newspaper Hat..basket and Bowl too

A simple fun craft ,A recycling method ...you have to do is to wet the paper and form a shape using a strainer bowl...

You only need old news paper,your kitchen faucets...a strainer ,size depends what size you want..i suggest the size of your head..since we are planning to make a hat too...and you need ordinary glue or adhesive glue too..strong one..,scissor , varnish [optional]..and handmade paper rose..

how to start making the bowl...

wet the paper by running water on it ...

and place the wet paper pieces inside the bowl...we will make a bowl shape by adding more wet paper .

like this...your doing the same like paper mache..

after drying them..they should look like this..solid and and well dried

Can you create Wreath out of News Paper or out of Cotton?

  Well I did.........
   They are not only unique but inexpensive.....i have used not only news paper or cotton but old clothes also.color paper and origami paper...and more to create soon..i am sure.
    Creating this fun ..i know some of my wreath are time consuming or need hand effort..you know hand craft usually need time to focus and concentrate..so if you don`t really like art work it will not get easy for you to create something like this.......

 But i am so happy and feel satisfied if i saw my project are perfectly done....creating something is a good meditation for me ,it gives me a good relax of mind though my hands and eyes are busy..that is what you call creativity...

Can You Create Something Out of PAPER?

   Well,  I love paper craft..see the photos below..they`re all paper craft...kind a .looks real,  usually you can make this out of clay...but i tried to use paper to create food out of it...it is good when you feel bored ,have nothing to do...just get a piece of color paper and work with your imagination..i am sure you will enjoy creating something like this..
